The protecting sheet can be bonded to the automobile coating film in a good adhesive power in a state without having wrinkles, etc., and easily peeled off even on sticking the adhesive layers themselves to each other, and is excellent in cover working property. SOLUTION: An automobile painted film protecting sheet comprises an adhesive layer having a rough surface on a base material consisting of a fiber worked sheet. The adhesive layer preferable from the point of diffusing property of penetrated waste water has a surface roughness of 2 μm or more on the basis of Ra by JIS B 0601 and/or 20 μm or more on the basis of Rmax. According to this automobile protecting sheet, rainwater or cleaning solution, even if penetrated through the wrinkle part of an adhesive cover by this sheet is diffused by capillary phenomenon through the clearance by the surface-roughed adhesive layer. Thus concentration of the penetrated waste water by staying can be avoided, and a fouling such as discoloration or conversion of the automotive painted film can be prevented.

Therefore, the adhesive layer can be attached via the thin thermoplastic polymer layer with high adhesion and it can prevent the adhesive from remaining when the adhesive cover is removed and can prevent the decrease in adhesion caused by the adhesive layer buried in the substrate.

SOLUTION: Pressure-sensitive adhesives comprise, as the components, at least an isobutylene based polymer having been subjected to peptization treatment by a radical initiator in an organic solvent and 0.001-5 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. isobutylene based polymer, peel controlling agent composed of an alcohol having a molecular weight of 90-300 and an oxygen atom content of not less than 8.5% or a derivative thereof or a carboxylic acid having a molecular weight of 70-400 and an oxygen atom content of not less than 11% or a derivative thereof, and surface protected materials have a pressure-sensitive layer made thereof on a support substrate. In the vicinity of the adhesion interface of the isobutylene based pressure-sensitive adhesion layer, the peel controlling agent is unevenly distributed to form a layer weak in cohesive force and thus, a pressure-sensitive adhesion layer excellent in initial adhesion, its retention and weatherability can be obtained.
