    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-treatment method for regenerating a part deteriorated by creep damage, particularly a part with deterioration in creep strength such as a welded part. SOLUTION: The heat-treatment method includes heating a member having creep voids to a heating temperature equal to or higher than the Ac 3 transformation point, wherein the heat-treatment is conducted under such a condition that a Larson Miller parameter (LMP value) defined by equation (1): LMP=(T+273)×(20+logt) (wherein T is the heating temperature (°C); and t is the heating time (h)), satisfies ≥24,000 at a heating temperature equal to or higher than the Ac 3 transformation point, so that the ratio of the number of creep voids present at a grain boundary per unit area of the member after the heat-treatment to that before the heat-treatment becomes ≤0.3. The heating temperature is preferably within the range of from "Ac 3 transformation point+30°C" to "Ac 3 transformation point+70°C". COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
