摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an all wool woven fabric having remarkable light weight and stretchability and provide a process for producing the woven fabric at a low cost. SOLUTION: A fabric is woven with a single union yarn spun from a soluble fiber and an animal hair fiber and having a thickness of >=30 count (meter count) and a twist coefficient of >=130 and the produced fabric is treated with hot water to shrink the soluble fiber and then dissolve and remove the soluble fiber. The sum of shrinkages in warp and weft directions of the fabric is >15%, the yarn constituting the fabric is an all wool single yarn having a thickness of >=35 count (meter count) and the number of single fibers constituting the single yarn is >=40 based on the cross-section of the single yarn.

CONSTITUTION:The steaming chamber 10 is provided with a steam-permeable and endlessly rotating conveyer 9 for sending sliver 3 from the inlet 14 to the outlet 15, and the steam introduction means 13 is set beneath the conveyer 9 so that the sliver inlet 14 and the outlet 15 become lower than the steam introduction means 13. The sliver 3 is fed through the swing feeder 6 and conveyer 8 and the inlet 14 into the steaming chamber 10, then, comes up together with the conveyer belt and passes over the steam introduction means 13 for steam treatment, and goes down with the conveyer 9 and out of the outlet 17. Thus, the outside air is inhibited from invading into the steam chamber 10 and the exhaustion means 17 is used to remove out the air in the chamber smoothly whereby the atmosphere in the chamber is efficiently replaced with steam.

The minimum amts. of the chemicals necessary for decomposing the pigments remaining in dyeing waste water are estimated, and injected into the waste water. The waste water is then sampled after injection to measure the treating condition of the waste water, and the chemicals are replenished when the treatment is insufficient. Consequently, the amts. of chemicals to be charged are minimized, and the load in removing the unreacted chemicals remaining in the waste water after treatment is eliminated or reduced to a minimum. As a result, the treating efficiency is improved, and the treating cost is reduced.
