    • PURPOSE: To assure sufficient strength and workability even if a unit cement quantity relating to a temp. stress is decreased by decreasing the unit cement quantity and compounding a high-performance water-reducing agent or the high-performance water-reducing agent and welan gum. CONSTITUTION: The unit cement quantity is made smaller by >=10kg/m than the design compounding and the high-performance water-reducing agent, such as β-naphthalene sulfonnate, etc., is compounded at 0.01 to 0.1wt.% and the welan gum at 0 to 0.1wt.% of the unit water volume, by which the unit cement quantity is decreased to and the unit water volume for obtaining prescribed slump is decreased by 5 to 10kg/m at the time of producing dam concrete by mixing the necessary unit cement quantity under compounding design of the slump value of 0 to 6cm to obtain the dam concrete having the target strength. As a result, the water cement ratio does not increase and the compressive strength does not degrade even if the unit cement quantity is decreased by about 10 to 20kg/m . The degradation in viscosity is suppressed and the cost reduction is attained by addition of an admixture (high-performance water-reducing agent + welan gum).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a mass concrete structure having required strength with excellent workability by successively repeating a process, in which a unit placing space is formed onto existing concrete by using burying type forms and coarse aggregate is charged and the clearances of the coarse aggregate are filled with high superplasticized concrete, as one unit. SOLUTION: A unit placing space 4 is formed by employing burying type forms 3, and other side walls are formed by the forms 3 while using the wall of the existing concrete 2 of a side section as one of the side walls. When coarse aggregate 5 is charged completely, clearances among the coarse aggregate 5 are filled with high superplasticized concrete having self-filling properties. An injection pipe 6 reaching the lower section of the layer of the coarse aggregate 5 is inserted beforehand at the time of the injection of concrete, and concrete is flowed among the coarse aggregate 5 through the infection pipe 6. The coarse aggregate 5 and filled concrete are unified by utilizing the excellent filling properties of high superplasticized concrete having self-filling properties for executing mass concrete, and a firm mass concrete structure can be built.
