    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing structure and a sound absorbing material from which a high sound absorbing coefficient can be obtained using a fine perforation board.
SOLUTION: The rear face of the fine perforation board 1 whose front face is faced to a sound field is opposed to a wall 15 or a ceiling 16 in the sound field via an air layer 17, and the air layer 17 is compartmentalized into a plurality of cylindrical air gaps 6 of an aperture w smaller than wavelength λ of the impinging sound from the sound field by partitions perpendicular to the fine perforation board 1. For example, the air layer 17 is compartmentalized into a plurality of cylindrical air gaps 6 by inserting a honeycomb molding 5 into the air layer 17. The air layer 17 can be compartmentalized into a plurality of cylindrical air gaps 6 only in the near part of the fine perforation board 1. Preferably, the diameter w of each cylindrical air gap 6 is made not larger than 0.6 times as large as the wavelength λ of the impinging sound from the sound field. More preferably, an airtight diaphragm or membrane 9 is provided on the aperture of each cylindrical air gap 6 on the opposite side of the fine perforation board 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-insulating wall capable of preventing a decrease in sound insulation while securing a heat insulation property.
SOLUTION: A structure of the heat-insulating wall is constituted by driving heat insulating forms 13 and 15 into both surfaces of a reinforced concrete (RC) wall 17; and the form 15, which is different in response frequency from the form 13 which is driven into one surface, is driven into the other surface. In the structure constituted as above, for example, a surface material for the form 13 is composed of a calcium silicate board, and a surface material for the form 15 is composed of a flexible board.
