    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the flow of underground water without lifting an apparatus by branching a pipe line from the port of a tracer force-feeding pipe, applying negative pressure, and pumping up the underground water. CONSTITUTION:A directional neutron moisture meter 4 is contained in cylindrical strut 6 for linking upper and lower air packers 5a and 5b, and the directivity is controlled with a directivity controller 15. Air is sent and discharged with a packer operating device 7 into and out of the packers 5a and 5b. The packers are brought into contact with a strainer pipe 2 with pressure, and the moisture meter 4 is fixed. The moisture meter 4 can be moved by the contraction with the pipe 2. The moisture meter 4 is connected to a digital count-rate meter 8, and the concentration analysis of tracer 9 in the moisture meter 4 is performed. A hole for discharging the tracer 9 is provided at the lower part of the packer 5a and coupled with a tracer injecting device 10. A T pipe line 11 is provided at the outlet port of the device 10 and connected to a vacuum pump 13 through an underground-water sampling bottle 12. At the time of the sampling of the underground water and the time of the flow measurement, the pipe line is changed to the side of the pump 13 and the side of the device with a directional control valve.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a waste disposal field with a water leakage monitoring device detecting the occurrence and position of water leakage by means of a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:A water shielding inside film body 1 and a water shielding outside film body 2 are overlapped each other and arranged on the bottom face of a waste storage space. Plural high resistive elements R, which face the whole area of the bottom face, the dispesedly arranged between the inside film body 1 and the outside film body 2, and the high resistive elements R are connected in series by a resistive connection wire T. Over the overall length of the resistive connection wire T, a bare lead wire H is arranged in parallel with the resistive connection wire T between the inside film body 1 and the outside film body 2. A resistance meter 3 is connected between one end of the resistive connection wire T and one end of the bare lead wire H, and the number of the high resistive elements R between the high resistive element, which is substantially short-circuited to the bare lead wire H because of water leakage, and one end of the resistive connection wire T is found on the basis of the measured value of the resistance meter 3, and consequently, the occurrence of water leakage and the leakage position are monitored.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate pull-out by sticking a sheet consisting of ultra-water absorbing fibers onto the surface of a steel material composed of a steel sheet- pile, H-steel, etc., used for a landslide protection wall, swelling or shrinking the sheet when the steel material is removed and to reduce the friction of the steel material and soil. CONSTITUTION:An ultra-water absorbing fiber woven fabric 1 made up of fibers, etc., having an acrylic acid salt unit and an acrylamide unit is stuck onto the surface of a steel sheet-pile 2, and the steel sheet-pile 2 is driven into the ground and moisture in soil is absorbed and the woven fabric 1 is swollen. Water is injected from joint sections 3 at the time of extracting and dry soil, etc., are swollen at the time of dry soil, etc. Otherwise, the steel sheet-pile 2 is driven under the state, in which a sheet 1 absorbs water and is swollen, brine or an alkalic aqueous solution is impregnated at the time of extraction, and the sheet is shrunk. The frictional force of the steel sheet-pile 2 and the ground 4 is reduced. Accordingly, the steel sheet-pile can be pulled out easily.
