    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical connection part structure between a column and a beam in a building capable of connecting steel pipe column to the beam without cutting it for each floor, having an advantage of an external diaphragm structure as a reinforcement structure, reducing wasted cut parts especially by use of a finely divided steel plate serving as the external diaphragm, and greatly facilitating construction.
      SOLUTION: In this connection part structure between the column and the beam in the building in which the steel beam is connected to the circumference side wall face of the steel pipe column via the external diaphragm, the external diaphragm is arranged between the adjacent beams from the outside, and the cutout part side is fixed to the steel pipe column, while the side edge part side is arranged opposedly to the flange of the beam with the side edge part of the external diaphragm and fixed by means of a splice plate and a high- tension bolt. In this way, the steel pipe column and the beam are connected together.
