    • PURPOSE:To easily pull out a blade and to miniaturize a knife by additionally providing a pressing part at a cam body so as to press the blade for turning the blade and exposing it from an inserting/ejecting port when the pressing part is detached by the cam body in the state of housing the blade. CONSTITUTION:In a holder, the state of supporting a blade 7 so as to be freely turned and housing the blade from an inserting/ejecting port 5 of the holder and the state of protruding the blade from a port part 6 of the holder are switched. Besides, back metal 16 having a pressing part 18 is fitted to the holder and engaged to a cam part 11 respectively in the states of housing and protruding the blade 7. In this case, a cam body 23 to be interlocked with an operating part supported at the holder is additionally provided so that the pressing part 18 can be engaged with the cam part 11 of the blade 7 in the states of housing and protruding the blade 7. When the pressing part 18 is detached by the cam body 23 in the state of housing the blade 7, a pressing part 25 is additionally provided at the cam body 23 so that the blade 7 is exposed from the inserting/ ejecting port 5 by turning the blade 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give skinning function to kitchen scissors for more convenience in use. SOLUTION: Both scissors members 1, 2 are detachable from each other at a closing center 3. A cutting part 4 of one scissors member 1 has a skinner 14. The skinner 14 has a bracket 15 mounted on the cutting part 4 and a cutting plate 16 supported on the bracket 15 in a rotationally movable manner. The cutting plate 16 is rotationally movable a preset angle. A guide hole is formed in the cutting plate 16 and a cutting edge is formed at the opposed inner edge of the guide hole. A cutting part 5 of another scissors member 2 has a cutting edge 5a of a smaller cutting angle than that of the cutting edge 4a of the cutting part 4 for functioning as a kitchen knife. With the skinning function of kitchen scissors, the need for using the kitchen scissors separately as a skinner is eliminated, resulting in more convenience in use.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate force application for both operation arms, clamp, especially, a thin object completely, and improve ease of operation. SOLUTION: An operation arm 4 is capable of taking a non-working position and an initial working position for an operation arm 3 with a jaw 2 and the operation arm 4 relatively-moving at a connection part 8. Opening the operation arm 4 for the jaw 2 becomes incapable at the non-working position. At the initial working position, the operation arm 4 is opened more for the jaw 2 than the non-working position, so that opening and closing of the operation arm 4 becomes capable for the jaw 2. The opening angle between both the operation arms 3, 4 becomes large even if the opening angle between both jaws 1, 2 is small in the working condition, thus it is possible to grip both the operation arms 3, 4 in such a condition as a hand is fully-opened. By releasing the engagement of the locking claw part 24 of a regulating arm 5 supported at the operation arm 4 with the locking edge part 30 of the operation arm 3, the opening movement between both the operation arms 3, 4, and the opening movement between both the jaws 1, 2 are regulated, and only closing movement between them are allowed.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a mold by a method wherein an inner thickness part, which is made of synthetic resin and fixed to the basic end part of a knife blade, is inserted in the cavity of a mold in such a manner that two or more supporting parts provided on the inner thickness part are made to abut against the inner surface of the cavity in order to support the inner thickness part. CONSTITUTION:An inner thickness part 2 is inserted in the cavity 7a of a mold 7 and supported in the cavity 7a by making both decorative projections 3 and a mouth part 4 abut against the inner surface of the cavity 7a. Synthetic resin P is injected into a space left between the inner thickness part 2 and the inner surface of the cavity 7a so as to integrally mold an outer thickness part 5 on the outer periphery of the inner thickness part 2. Both the decorative projections 3 and the mouth part 4 are exposed beyond the outer thickness part 5. Accordingly, both the decorative projections 3 and the mouth part 4 abut against the inner surface of the cavity 7a, the inner thickness part 2 is positioned in the cavity 7a. Thus, the provision of supporting parts, which support the inner thickness part 2, on the mold 7 becomes unnecessary, resulting in simplifying the structure of the mold 7.
