    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toy air gun capable of attaining such a structure and an action as one in which a bullet launching passage is retracted in the same manner as that of an actual gun when the bullet is launched even in the case of a toy air gun operated to have a quite low pressure gas expansion as compared with an explosion power of gun powder in the actual gun. SOLUTION: This toy air gun is constructed such that a bullet launching passage and a bullet holding chamber 13 are separately arranged from any one of a slide cover 16 or a main body 1 of the gun, wherein a protrusion extending in a longitudinal direction is arranged at a desired position at an outer circumferential surface of the bullet launching passage, there is provided a guiding groove composed of grooves extending in parallel in a longitudinal direction and a helical groove, an inner surface of the slide cover 16 is provided with a protrusion groove where the protrusion of the bullet launching passage can be slid, the main body 1 of the gun is provided with a projection fitted to the guiding groove of the bullet launching passage and as the bullet is launched, the slide cover 16 is retracted at the beginning together with the bullet launching passage and after this operation only the slide cover 16 is retracted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toy air gun having a safety device in which a launching of bullet can be positively prevented by a simple method even under an accidental case and further an image of the actual gun is not damaged. SOLUTION: A toy air gun is constructed such that there are provided a hammer 9 having a biasing force rotated at a front part of a gun with a spring, a shearing member for locking this hammer 9 against a biasing force under a state rotated rearwardly by a specified angle, an impact frame rotatably provided with an impact hammer 10 at its extremity end. A trigger 8 arranged at a main body 1 of the gun is pulled, thereby when the hammer 9 raised in advance and locked returns back to a predetermined position, a releasing valve 11 in a gas pressure accumulating chamber 3 is opened through the impact hammer 10 to inject gas into the bullet launching passage and there is provided a mechanism for launching the loaded bullet 4. Under a state in which the bullet can be launched, the impact hammer 10 is abutted against the releasing valve 11. When the launching of the bullet is stopped, the abutted state between the impact hammer 10 and the releasing valve 11 is released.
