With the rotation of the rotating shaft 4, a rotation side seal face 37 of the rotary ring 12 comes in slide contact with a fixed side seal face 17 of the fixed ring 11. On at least one of the rotation side seal face 37 and the fixed side seal face 17, a DLC film 14 is provided which contains silicon of more than 0 wt.% and 30 wt.% or less.

On the inner peripheral face of the cage 6 on at least one axial side, an enlarged diameter portion 20 is formed ranging from one axial end to the peripheral edges of the pockets 5 with its diameter wholly enlarged, not shrunk. A surface 20a of the enlarged diameter portion 20 has oil repellency.
