      SOLUTION: A plurality of through holes 20 positioned spaced apart from one another in a circumference direction are formed on a first ring 10 and a plurality of through holes 21 positioned spaced apart from one another in a circumference direction are formed on a second ring 11. A screw part 40 and a press fit part 43 are formed on an outer circumference of a pin 13. The minimum inner diameter of a through hole 21 of the second ring 11 is set larger than the maximum outer diameter of a part positioned at a screw part 40 side of the press in part 43 on the pin 13. The minimum inner diameter of a through hole 20 of the first ring 10 is set larger than the maximum outer diameter of a part positioned at a screw part 40 side of a reaction part 42 on the pin 13. The screw part 40 of the pin 13 is screwed in a screw hole 22 of a nut 12, and the press fit part 43 of the pin 13 is fitted in the through hole 21 of the second ring 11 with interference fit.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a raceway member of a rolling bearing capable of assembling the raceway member even if a bolt inserting hole involves a dimensional error in the heat treatment process and capable of preventing a machining tool from being broken or the raceway member from being damaged in the turning process of the raceway after heat treatment.
      SOLUTION: The diameter D of the bolt inserting hole 2e is formed to be greater than the outside diameter d of the shank part 10a of a bolt 10 by a predetermined value so that a dimensional error due to a heat treatment strain can be absorbed in the boring process, and thereby it is made practicable to assemble an outer ring 2 in a housing 52 even if a dimensional error arises in the bolt inserting hole 2e owing to the heat treatment process. Prior to the heat treatment process, an annular groove 21 is formed at each end face 2d of the outer ring 2 in its portion corresponding to the bolt inserting hole 2e so as to avoid generation of discontinuity in machining due to the bolt inserting hole 2e in the turning process of each end face 2d after heat treatment.
