    • PURPOSE:To evaluate the sides and upper and lower surfaces of an object while preventing the lowering of the reliability by arranging a device for pressing a smear paper on the surface thereof to be made up of a 3-axis robot capable of spiraling, lifting and transversing. CONSTITUTION:First, a lift table 15 is positioned at an upper level to turn a drum can 1. A jig head 28 is advanced below the drum can 1 with a transversing device 29 and then displaced upward with a jig index device 31. The jig head 28 is moved at a proper speed to wipe the entire undersurface of the drum can 1 by a smearing paper 42 with a smear jig 40 pressing at the center thereof 1 with an appropriate pressure. Then, the lift table 15 is positioned at a lower level to rotate the drum can 1 and the transversing device 29 is positioned upward. The jig head 28 is arranged above the drum can 1 and displaced upward to wipe the entire top surface thereof with the smear jig pressed at the center thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To compress and reduce a can-like body at a high volume reducion ratio and to make the storage thereof easy, by depressing in the cylindrical part of the can-like body in a hollow groove shape, and pressing the same further to form the can-like body to a semicircular sectional shape then compressing the can-like body longitudinally to a flat shape. CONSTITUTION:A used drum can 2 is pressed by means of a side piston 14 and a side cylinder 11 until the can contacts with the arc surface 4 in the U-shaped notch part of a cylinder body 1 and further a connecting member 16 is advanced until a regulating member 17 contacts with the outside end face 10a of the cylinder 11, then a recessed part 20 like a hollow groove of a prescribed width is formed longitudinally to the can 2 by the piston body 15 of the piston 14. After the piston body 15 is retreated, the cylinder 11 is operated to force the recessed surface part 21 of the can 2 to form the can 2 into a semi-circular shape in cross section. The piston 18 is advanced to compress the can 2 between the same and a cylinder cap 9 to a flat shape, and the can is discharged with a removing plate 19 to the outside of the chamber 13.

CONSTITUTION:A used drum can 2 is pushed through an opened guide face 6 into the U-shaped notch part consisting of the arc surface 4 and inner side surface 5 of a cylinder body 1 by means of a side cylinder 10 and a side piston 14. When the can 2 is held in an approximately cylindrical chamber 13 formed of the surface 4 and the arc surface 11 of the cylinder 10, a connecting member 16 is moved downward until a regulating member 17 contacts with the outside end face 10a of the clinder 10 and a recess 21 is formed longitudinally on the can 2 by the piston body 15 of the piston 14. After the piston 15 is retreated upward, a piston 19 for compression is advanced to compress and reduce volume the can 2 to a flat shape between the same and a cylinder cap 9. The compressed can is discharged with a removing plate 20 to the outside of the chamber 13.
