摘要： PURPOSE: To enhance backwashing capacity, in the protective outer cylinder of a bundled body of hollow yarn filter membrane, by a method wherein a gas outlet orifice is provided to a position higher than the lowermost end of a strip like material wound around the bundled part of the bundled membrane while the lower end of the outer cylinder is positioned below the lower end of the bundled membrane.
CONSTITUTION: A bundled body of hollow yarn filter membrane is fixed to a protective outer cylinder 3 while one W several gas outlet orifices are provided to a position higher than the lowermost end 12 of a strip like material 13 wound around the bundled membrane. When a gas outlet orifice 10 is present at a position lower than the strip like material 13, such inconveniences are generated that a hollow yarn is accompanied by an exhaust gas jetting out of said orifice 10 or damaged during backwashing or the liquid level of a raw liquid part is made lower than the strip like body to interrupt the smooth backwashing of a part not immersed in a liquid.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent a liquid containing a suspended substance from being discharged out of an apparatus in a state accompanied by a backwashing gas, in backwashing a hollow yarn like porous high molecular membrane with a gas, by preliminarily withdrawing the liquid in an amount corresponding to a flooded liquid generated by backwashing due to the gas.
CONSTITUTION: A raw liquid containing a radioactive suspended substance is introduced into a vessel 21 from a line 26 and filtered through a hollow yarn filter membrane 22 to discharge a filtrate from a line 27. When the filtering capacity is lowered by the accumulation of the suspended substance on the membrane 22, the raw liquid is discharged from a line 28 to be flowed into a tank 23 while air is introduced into the vessel 21 from a line 29 under pressure to release and remove the suspended substance adhered to the surface of the membrane 22. Air discharged from a line 30 is introduced into the tank 23 to fall off mist therein and further introduced into a purifying apparatus 24 having a demister 25 mounted therein from a line 31 to completely remove the residual suspended substance therein while purified air is discharged from a line 32. The suspended substance is not contained in discharged air at all and pollution is not enlarged in its spreading.

摘要： PURPOSE:To purify efficiently the titled condensate by allowing the condensate of a steam turbine generated from a boiling water reactor to pass through a filter consisting of a backwash type hollow and porous high molecular membrane, and desalting the condensate in a condensate desalting tower packed with an ion-exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:The steam generated from a boiling water reactor BWR is condensed in a condenser CD through a turbine TB, and the condensate is purified and recirculated to the BWR. In this case the condensate is passed through a filter SF consisting of a backwash type hollow and porous high molecular membrane to remove the crude, and desalted in a condensate desalting tower DS packed with an ion-exchange resin. The SF is backwashed by blowing in the air AIR as shown by the dotted line. The backwash water contg. the crude is circulated to a solid-fying stage SLD and solidified to recude the volume. A porous hollow yarn consisting essentially of PVA is utilized as the hollow high molecular membrane, and the ultrahigh-precision filtration is carried out.
