    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a stainless steel sheet for disk-brake rotor which reduces the load at the processing of the disk by producing the steel sheet stably having a prescribed hardness for disk-brake rotor at a heat-treatment time after cold-rolling.
      SOLUTION: A stainless steel blank containing 0.04-0.19% C+N, ≤0.5% Si, 0.5-2.5% Mn, 10-14.5% Cr, or further, one or two kinds among ≤1.0% Cu and ≤1.5% Ni, is annealed after hot-rolling and successively, pickling is applied and further, the cold-rolling is applied, and the obtained cold-rolled steel strip is cooled with an annealing pickling apparatus for cold roolling material after heating into the austenitic zone, to obtain martensite structure and thereafter, the pickling is applied.
