    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a hot-rolled shaped steel for ships, which exhibits excellent corrosion resistance even in a severe corrosive environment, e.g. for ballast tanks of ships, and which has strength to be YP of 315 MPa or above and is used for a longitudinal member (longeron) or the like. SOLUTION: The hot-rolled shaped steel is produced by: heating a steel raw material containing, by mass%, 0.03-0.25% C, 0.05-0.50% Si, 0.1-2.0% Mn, ≤0.025% P, ≤0.01% S, 0.005-0.10% Al, 0.01-1.0% W, ≥0.01% but 3 or below is 10-80% and the rolling finish temperature is (Ar 3 -30°C) to (Ar 3 -180°C); and then standing the rolled steel to cool.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an unequal legged angle iron of unequal thickness in which the product strain is reduced and which has strength difference between the web and the flange in the unequal legged angle iron of the unequal thickness which is different in the thickness and the width of the web and the flange.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the rough rolling method for the shaped steel which can control an elongated bellows-like shape produced at the end portion of a rolled material in the last rolling stage following the rough rolling or in the intermediate rolling stage preceding the last rolling stage.
      SOLUTION: In the rolling method which produces a shaped steel product by rolling a workpiece having rectangular section, the rough rolling process which can perform at least more than single pass level rolling and cross direction rolling is provided and, by estimating an ideal end shape in the rough rolling process from a difference in rolling reduction applied to each section of the rolled material in the shape rolling following the rough rolling process, the rough rolling is performed so that the workpiece may have such ideal end shape as is estimated.
