    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying material used for repairing a refractory damaged part of an industrial furnace of a metal melting container, wherein the thermal spraying material is easily and excellently thermally deposited on a material to be repaired by melting the refractory particles and low melting point particles using an exothermic oxidation reaction of metal particles contained in the thermal spraying material.
      SOLUTION: As for the thermal spraying material, a mixture of refractory particles and the metal particles of an oxidizing powder is sprayed together with oxygen on the material to be repaired which is made of silica brick and is melted by the exothermic oxidation reaction to be thermally deposited on the material to be repaired. The refractory particles consist essentially of pulverized powder of the silica brick, having ≤2,000 μm particle diameter and the metal particle is preferably made of metal silicon.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coke scraping apparatus easily mounted on a conventional guide vehicle, and scraping out coke on the taking out side.
      SOLUTION: The coke scraping apparatus comprises a head 5 loaded on the guide vehicle as forward/backward movable to an opening of a take out side of a kiln, a lid attaching/detaching mechanism 3 supported on the head 5 as vertically movable and has a hook 7 which can lock a lid of the opening 4 of the kiln on the tip side of the head 5, and a hooking plate 8 capable of hooking by the hook 7. A scoop 9 is pivoted as tiltable to the opening 4 of the kiln on the low end of the hooking plate 8. The scoop 9 has an opened rear end to the opening 4 of the kiln. The rear end of the scoop 9 is caught and a stopper 10 is provided to make the rear end of the scoop 9 tilt to downward when the hooking plate 8 raises by the hook 7. The scraping of coke is carried out by the forward/backward movement of the head 5 and vertical movement of the hook 7 like attaching/detaching of the lid.
