摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally carry out winding operation of a strip by preventing a tip of the strip from entering a gap for avoiding interference arranged between a carrying roller and a lower end part of a side guide. SOLUTION: A side guide device has a side guide part 5a which advances or retreats toward the width direction of the strip S on the carrying roller 11, and carries out centering. The side guide part includes: a plate-like straight part 5a1 arranged along a carrying direction at a strip outlet side; and a plate-like introducing part 5a2 arranged to be opened at a predetermined angle at a strip inlet side. The gap for avoiding interference is arranged between the lower end parts of the straight part and the introducing part and the outer circumference of the carrying roller.
