    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing terminal cable of battery which enables the connection between a cable 1 and a cup terminal without requiring skillfulness by controlling the heating of the cup terminal in accordance with the temperature of solder to be fused. SOLUTION: This producing method of terminal cable comprises a heating process of detecting the temperature of the solder 6 poured into a cup recessed part 2b of the cup terminal 2 by means of a thermo-couple 8, controlling a heater 7a of hot air heater 7 with a heating controller 9 in such a manner that the detected temperature becomes within a prescribed temperature range and, thereby, heating the cup terminal 2, a cable connecting process of inserting the end part of the cable 1 exposing a conductive body 1a into the cup recessed part 2b and, stopping the heating by means of the heater 7a of hot air heater 7 when the temperature of the solder 6 in the cup recessed part 2b of the cup terminal 2 becomes within the prescribed range and a caulking process of directing and pressing the outer periphery of opening part of the cup recessed part 2b inward after the insertion of the end part of the cable 1 into the cup recessed part 2b of the cup terminal 2 and, thereby, caulking the end part of the cable 1 to the cup terminal 2.
