    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin flat twisted-pair clearance cable composed by reducing the diameter of twisted-pair wires, by arranging them side by side to fusion-bond and fix them with two tapes and by flattening them in order to pass a round twisted twisted-pair cable conventionally used for high-speed transmission through a sash; and to provide a clearance navigator unit.
      SOLUTION: Twisted-pair wires are each composed by uniformly intertwining, with each other, two core wires each formed by overlaying an insulating coating of PE or the like on a small-diameter conductor, and a required number of the twisted-pair wires are arranged side by side to form a cable. The inside surfaces of the two plastic tapes are coated with a thermosetting adhesive; and the cable is sandwiched by the two plastic tapes; and the twisted-pair wires arranged side by side are thermally welded to one another so as to be positioned in the center part of the width of the tapes, whereby this flattened clearance cable can be provided. An adhesive tape is applied to one side of the flat cable in order to attach it along a clearance of a sash.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rooftop work method and an apparatus used for rooftop work, effective in preventing a fall and sliding-down, when arranging a fall preventive apparatus arranged on a roof upper surface. SOLUTION: This rooftop working method is constituted so that a preceding string is extendedly arranged via a roof of a house up to the opposite side from one side of the house by going over the ridge of the house or in parallel to the ridge; an end part of a master belt 1 is connected to an end part of the preceding string; the master belt 1 is arranged so as to cross a predetermined position on the roof by pulling the preceding string existing on the opposite side of a connecting part; both end parts of the master belt 1 are respectively fixed to the house by a gripping apparatus 4; a master rope 5 is fixed by installation of the gripping apparatus 4 or a gripping apparatus separate from the gripping apparatus 4, and is suspended on the ground from the roof; a moving rope 7 is fixed to the master belt 1; and a worker moves onto the roof in a state of connecting the body of the worker to the master rope 5, to perform work in a state of connecting the body of the worker to the moving rope 7.
