CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle primary type linear motor, iron plates 6 are laminated through insulating films 12 laterally to form a base material of magnetic material. The base material is clamped at mounting fittings 5a, 5b, and a bonding material 4 made of a C-shaped nonferrous metal material is coated on the base material to form the secondary composite conductor. Thus, since an eddy current loss generated at the secondary conductor can be alleviated, the characteristics of a linear motor can be largely improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily detect the deterioration condition in the supporting part of a linear motor from attraction force and a change rate of a gap by changing the attraction force generated by DC excitation of a primary coil and measuring the gap between the primary coil and a reaction plate. CONSTITUTION:A tramcar into which the primary coil 1 of the linear motor supported in an axle via vibration insulating rubber and adjusting shims is built is entered into an inspection and service pit 8. The attraction force is generated by subjecting the primary coil 1 of the linear motor of the tram car to the DC excitation and this attraction force is changed. The change rate of the gap between the primary coil 1 and the reaction plate 6 is then measured by the testing apparatus constituted of a gap sensor 9, a gap measuring instrument 10, and a computer 11, etc. The measured value is compared with an initial value, by which the deterioration condition in the supporting part of the linear motor is easily detected without removing the linear motor carriage from the tramcar and disassembling the carriage.

CONSTITUTION:When an inspected train 3 is made to leave, then pressure fluid is fed from an external power source to a fluid cylinder 7, and a rod 8 is extruded, and a movable reaction plate 6 is set at the lower section of a linear motor 4 at the end section of the train 3. In this state, current is conducted to the linear motor 4, and thrust is generated to move the train 3. By this method, the train to enter and leave a car-inspecting place can be self-moved, and so a conveying car for moving the train, or a special conveyer is not needed.

A bonding material 4 made of a nonferrous metal material formed at both ends in V shape is coated on the material 5, and a flat head screw 10 is engaged into a threaded hole 9 formed at the center to secure the material 5 to the material 4. Thus, the clamping member of the material 5 to the trestle 6 can be eliminated, a thermal elongation and contraction between the material 5 of different metal and the material 4 are not restricted to prevent them from deforming.
