In a preferable embodiment of the resin particles, the resin particles have an average particle diameter ranging from 0.01 to 1 μm.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which has excellent toner properties such as anti-offset properties and low temperature fixability, is inexpensive, and ensures low toner consumption per sheet, without using bisphenol A or a derivative thereof as an alcohol component in an electrostatic charge image developing toner using a polyester resin as a binder resin, and to provide a polyester resin used for the above toner and an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: In the polyester resin used as the binder resin of the toner, the acid components are (1) disproportionated rosin and (2) terephthalic acid and/or isophthalic acid, the alcohol components are (3) a glycidyl ester of a tertiary fatty acid and (4) a 2 to 10C aliphatic diol, and the crosslinking component consists of a trivalent or larger valency polycarboxylic acid and/or a trivalent or a larger valency polyol. The molar ratio of the acid component (1) to the acid component (2), (1)/(2), is 0.2 to 0.6, and the molar ratio of the alcohol component (3) to the alcohol component (4), (3)/(4), is 0.05 to 0.4.
