摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a forward directivity charge warhead, scattering the fragments thereof forward while having a cylindrical configuration and having a simple structure, by a constitution wherein the warhead is provided with a recess, enclosed by the outer surface of a metallic case, at the front surface in the flying direction of the warhead. CONSTITUTION:The metallic case of a forward directivity charge warhead A is provided with a recessed space 3, enclosed by a metallic case 1a, at the forward surface of the flying direction of the warhead and the material is different according to the using purpose thereof. When jet or the fragments of large mass are to be produced, the material is preferably copper or soft carbon steel and when a multitude of fragments of small mass are to be produced, the material is preferably hard carbon steel. The metallic case is scattered as fragments by the detonation of explosive 2 initiated by a safety initiating device 4. In this case, an outside metallic case scatters toward side periphery but the part 1b of the metallic case at the front surface of the flying direction of the warhead scatters forward substantially and the part 1a of the metallic case in a recess is scattered so as to be concentrated forwardly without being scattered sidewards. As a result, effective damage can be given by the fragments of the warhead with a simple structure.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain both effects of splinters and bomb blast with one explosive by forming of a metal case, explosive of high blast speed disposed in contact with the case, and explosive of high energy disposed in the explosive, and providing triggering means. CONSTITUTION:A dual effect warhead A is composed of a metal case 1, explosive 1 of high blast speed of a hollow cylindrical shape in contact with the inner wall of the case 2, and explosive 3 of high energy of cylindrical shape provided in the hollow part of the explosive 1, and a booster 4 and a detonator 5 are provided in the explosive 3. When the explosive is exploded, the case 2 is scattered as splinters at a high speed, but if the explosive adjacent to the case is thin, the explosion wave reaches the case before it arrives at a normal blast speed, and sufficient splinter speed is not obtained. That is, the the explosive in inner contact with the case needs a thickness of the degree sufficient to reach the normal blast speed. The thickness depends upon the type of the explosive, but needs at least 2mm or more. If its space is sufficient, 20mm or more is desirable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to damage a target effectively with fragments by providing a plurality of protruding pieces inclined to the flying direction from the inner wall on the side of metal cases and installing air chambers between the protruding pieces and an explosive. CONSTITUTION:The side walls of metal cases 2 are burst into fragments when an explosive 3 is exploded. The gas generated by the explosion of the explosive 3 is compressed inside air chambers 4 so that the fragments are dispersed forward according to the inclination angle of the protruding pieces 1' resultant from its reaction against the explosion. Furthermore, the effect of gas compression is more intensified by installing blades 6 which maintains the air chambers 4 so that the fragments may be dispersed forward to a more extent. The number of the protruding pieces 1' is determined by the demand for a warhead. The inclination angle toward the front of the protruding pieces 1' should be most favorably 45 deg., which makes it possible to damage the target with the fragments more effectively.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high output voltage pulse by extracting an electromotive force generated in the direction vertical to a magnetic field resulting from traveling of plasma and the supplied voltage via a second electrode pair. SOLUTION: A voltage pulse generator 50 comprises a first electrode pair consisting of electrodes 10a, 10b, a second electrode pair consisting of electrodes 10c, 10d and a third electrode pair consisting of electrodes 10e, 10f. Direction of electric field generated by the first electrode pair is orthogonally crossing the direction of magnetic field. When plasma travels the inside of the first electrode pair 10a, 10b, a plasma current flows with the effect of field generated by such electrode pairs in the direction orthogonal to the direction of field generated by an N-pole permanent magnet 8 and S-pole permanent magnet 9. A force is applied in the plasma traveling direction due to the Fleming's left-hand rule and thereby velocity of plasma can be accelerated. Moreover, when the plasma travels into the inside of the second electrode pair, an electromotive force is generated by the traveling of plasma and it is then applied to a load 6 via the second electrode pair. Thereby, high voltage pulse can be generated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To permit the acquirement of both effects of jet and blast by one brusting charge by a method wherein bursting charge, having high bursting speed, and another brusting charge, having high energy, are arranged in a warhead so that the bursting charge, having high bursting speed, is arranged so as to come into contact with the inner wall surface of a metallic liner. CONSTITUTION:A warhead A is constituted of a metallic case 11, a metallic liner 12, a bursting charge 13, received in a receiving space enclosed by the metallic case and the metallic liner and having a high bursting speed, and another bursting charge 14, having a high energy, while the bursting charge 13, having high bursting speed, is arranged along the inner wall of the metallic liner at the lower part of the inner space of the warhead and the bursting charge of high energy is arranged in a remaining space in the warhead. The bursting charge 14 is provided with a booster 15 and a primer 16, which are constituting an initiating means, and the reaction of the bursting charge 14 is started by the detonation of the booster 15 initiated by the primer 16, then, the reaction arrives at the bursting charge 13 of high bursting speed in accordance with the advance of the detonation whereby the metallic liner 12 flies as a high-speed jet by the detonation. As a result, the warhead developes a high penetrating effect, the effect of the blast is increased as the amount of the bursting charge 14 having high energy is increased and the powerful effect of blast can be obtained.
