    • PURPOSE:To make excessive molding time and labor unnecessary, while molding operation is simplified by a method in which first and second injection units are communicated with the outer and inner paths of an injection head-body, and the advance and retreat of an inner torpedo are carried out by way of a center shaft. CONSTITUTION:After the plasticizing operation of first and second injection units 15, 16, the second injection unit 16 is stopped. The injection operation of the first injection unit 15 is started and is continued. When an inner torpedo 3 is retracted and is stopped at most retracted position, an outer path 8 is opened and an inner path 9 is closed. The molten resin which molds a skin layer is injected into a molding from the first injection unit 15. When the injecting operation of the second injection unit 16 is started, the molten resin in a core layer is injected into the inner path 9, thereby advancing the inner torpedo 3. The inner path 9 is opened and the molten resin which flows in both paths 8, 9 is injected into the mold, while the core layer is fully enclosed with a skin layer. At the state where the inner torpedo 3 is retracted to most retracted position, and the inner path 9 is closed, molten synthetic resin is injected into the outer path 8 from the first injection unit 15 and is injected into the mold, whereby single molding is carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the flow rate of molten resin and control of pressure by closing two passages and plasticization-operating separative injection units passed respectively through the two passages and then filling a large amount of molten resin into a mold in a short period. CONSTITUTION:A first injection unit 15 is injection-driven by a first cylinder 15b and the first screw 17a of a first injection cylinder 17 inserted thereinto and constituted of a first screw 15a which is rotated for plasticization by means of a first plasticization driving device, and a second injection unit 16 is injection- driven by a second cylinder 16b and the second piston 18a of a second injection cylinder 18 inserted thereinto and constituted of a second screw 16a which is rotated for plasticization by means of a second plasticization driving device. By moving and stopping an inside torpedo 3 as opening and closing means for the two passages to an arbitrary position between the utmost forward position and utmost rearward position in the axial direction, a twin injection molding machine is constituted such that an outside passage 8 and inside passage 9 as two passages can be opened and closed freely and the first and second injection units 15, 16 can be drive-controlled independently.
