    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute connecting and switching or branch connecting work of an optical fiber cable without imparting bad influence to transmission characteristics of the optical fiber cable, to increase equipment without difficulty and to compactly house a coated optical fiber slack and a coated optical fiber connecting part. SOLUTION: This casing is composed by superposing and arranging plural trays 2 for connecting a coated optical fiber which are provided with the coated optical fiber introducing part 11 for introducing the coated optical fiber, the connector housing part 12 in which a connector for connecting the coated optical fiber is housed and the coated optical fiber slack housing part 13 in which the coated optical fiber slack introduced from the connector held by the connector housing part 12 is housed. In this case, the tray 2 for connecting the coated optical fiber is attachably and detachably prepared in a tray housing case 4 in a closure 1 and the tray 2 for connecting the coated optical fiber is horizontally attached so that the coated optical fiber taking-out direction becomes the direction of the upper surface, the connector and the coated optical fiber slack are collectively housed, and also a lid piece 6 is turnably provided on the upper surface of the connecting tray 2 so that a set of folding doors is opened outward.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably improve a cable fixing assembly work. SOLUTION: In a closure, a cable grasping metal fitting provided with a grasping spacer 33 into which a cable is inserted and a conductor case provided with the conductor connection part of a cable conductor, which is led out from the cable fixed to the cable grasping metal fitting, and a storage part which is connected to the conductor connection part and has conductor slack are fixed to a connection metal fitting in a cylindrical sleeve into which the cable is led from both ends of the sleeve. In such a case, the grasping spacer 33 is provided for the cable insertion recessed part of a cable grasping metal fitting main body and a bent holding piece which is oppositely provided through an engagement face so that it can freely be attached/detached. The grasping spacer is constituted of the engagement combination of the plurality of grasping spacers 331 , 332 and 333 , which is freely divided by arc-like peripheral faces C1 , C2 and C3 along more than two different cable outer peripheries. Thus, the closure corresponds to the outer peripheries of the cables different in diameters by the addition/subtraction of the grasping spacers 331 , 332 and 333 .

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a chain of works easily done in cable connection for a cable connection housing body and increase the safety and airtightness and improve an assembly workability remarkably. SOLUTION: In this closure, slits 22 which lead from cable insertion holes to an outside face of an end face plate 3 and which can be cut off are formed in the end face plate 3 and thin caps which can be cut off are installed in the cable insertion holes 20. At the same time, rigidity-preserving sealing members 25 are removably set on the slits 22 and cable insertion holes 20. Furthermore, curved holding pieces 17 which are located face to face with cable insertion recessed sections 16 of a cable holding metal fittings 4 are removably and rotatably installed by pivotal sections 18. Then, free ends 171 of the curved holding pieces 17 are fastened and connected by means of installation members 19. The cable insertion recessed sections 16 and the curved holding pieces 17 are provided with division spacers 33 which are so located that the division spacers of the cable insertion recessed sections 16 and those of the curved holding pieces 17 may face each other. Due to this structure, it is easy to bring junction faces of sleeves face to face with each other and tighten them with tightening tools. Therefore, a cable lead-out, a cable coating, and a cable housing work can be done very rapidly in a cable connection and the very reliable airtightness can be secured in the sleeves.
