    • PURPOSE:To obtain an operation result of a correct velocity, by detecting omission of a pulse by input sequence of each pulse, and correcting the number of input pulses, when operating a velocity from a position signal input pulse of a moving body such as a vehicle, etc. CONSTITUTION:Input levels U, inverted W, V, inverted U, W and inverted V of every specified distance of a moving body are provided to an input pulse input part 1 of a time counting controller 200 through a controlling circuit 100. This input pulse phase number is stored in an input pulse phase number storage part 8 at the time of input. A pulse omission detecting part 9 compares a previous input pulse phase number storage part 10 with the storage part 8, and executes a rationality check of pulse sequence. Unless irrationality exists, the normal pulse number is sent to a position pulse counter 2, and in the event of irrationality, an omitted pulse is calculated from input sequence, a kind of input pulse phase, and a difference between the previous and present input pulse phase numbers, and the number of pulses which have added said result is sent to the counter 2. In this way, even in case when the input pulse number has been omitted, a correct velocity can be operated.

    • PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness to drive the rolling stock car when change- over to coasting running is to be performed by a method wherein the current value of an electric current pattern is reduced according to the prescribed time constant when a coasting running command is imputted, and the current value is returned to the original value according to the prescribed time constant when the coasting running command is canceled. CONSTITUTION:A phase difference detector 14 outputs the phase difference 15 between a frequency pattern 41 and a position signal 4, and a phase compensator 16 inputs the phase difference 15 to outputs a current peack value. The maximum value of the current peak value is limited by a limiter 17 to form a current peak value pattern 19 via a current peak value pattern regulating part 20. When the coasting running command C is afforded, the current peak value pattern regulating part 20 makes the current peak value pattern 19 to be reduced according to the prescribed time constant, and when the coasting running command C is canceled, it is increased according to the prescribed time constant. The current peak value pattern 19 is multiplied by a current wave form pattern 12 to form a current pattern 5.
