    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable taking of allowable stress largely by manufacturing a bellows of ceramic showing mechanical property excellent at high temperature. SOLUTION: Ceramic raw material powder is made SiC, and a graphite core is manufactured by minute particle isotropic graphite. At first, the graphite core having wave shape on the surface is shaved by a lathe. The graphite core is inserted in the cylindrical bag of rubber or vinyl, and ceramic powder is filled therearound. It is put in a room temperature static pressure press, high static pressure is applied, and the graphite core is molded into a compact block. The bag is removed, and the graphite core is shaved by lathe processing so that the part of thickness of a bellows remains. The compact is put into a metallic mold, and a joint is seal-welded. The compact is put in a high static pressure press, and sintering of ceramic is performed at high temperature and pressure of argon gas. The metallic mold is separated. A hole is drilled by a drill from both the end faces of the graphite core. The bellows with the graphite core is put in an electric furnace, and the graphite core is oxidized. A small amount of ash remains, removed, and manufacture of the bellows is completed.
