    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting a medical molecule side effect or drug discovery target by use of a database capable of connecting biomolecule information with bio-events. SOLUTION: The method for predicting a medical molecule side effect comprises steps of: (a) storing information on a biomolecule pair in a biomolecule-linkage database including information on the bio-events; (b) selecting one or more biomolecules and/or bio-events as an end point of search; (c) performing a connection search for automatically searching a linkage of functionally or biosynthetically relevant molecules, thereby generating a molecule-function network that is a linkage of functionally or biosynthetically relevant molecules including the end point; and (d) displaying the molecule-function network as a graph having the biomolecules and/or bio-events as nodes.
