SOLUTION: This insecticidal and acaricidal emulsion preparation includes the insecticidal and acaricidal active ingredient, one or more solvents dissolving the active ingredient and expressed by formula (I) [wherein X is -CH
2 -CH
2 - or -CH=CH-; and R
1 , R
2 are each a 1-4C alkyl] and/or (II) [wherein Y is alkylene or alkenylene; (n) is an integer of 0 to 8; and R
1 , R
2 are each 1-10C alkyl] or a mixed solvent thereof and an emulsifier.
