    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas filling device for avoiding excessively high pressure in a container which generates vapor pressure.
      SOLUTION: The liquefied gas filling device 1 comprises a fuel container 2 for storing liquefied gas, a pressure container 3 installed at a position lower than the fuel container 2 for storing the liquefied gas and applying pressure thereto, a liquid transfer line L3 for guiding the liquefied gas out of the pressure container 2, a heating means 13 provided in the liquid transfer line L3 for heating the liquefied gas in a transfer pipe, a gas transfer line L3' for returning the liquefied gas gasified by the heating means 13 to the pressure container, and a dispenser 5 for filling the liquefied gas in a vehicle. In accordance with a predetermined difference between pressure in the fuel container 2 and pressure in the pressure container 3, a predetermined difference pressure valve 9 controls the flow amount of the gas in the gas transfer line L3'.

A liquid shutoff mechanism has a rotary element 36 fixedly fitted on a center shaft of the rotary cam 32, provided with a notch 35 and loaded by a torsion spring 11, and a pushrod fitted in the notch 35 in the rotary element 36 at a normal detection temperature and retreated from the notch 35 in the rotary element 36 at an abnormal low temperature. A reset handle 50 is mounted on an end of a reset rod 43 coupled to the coupling rod 30.

      SOLUTION: A bypass connecting adapter 16a is arranged in an equalizing valve 15 of a bulk storage tank 10. A branch joint 19 having a valve 17b is interposed and arranged in a gas consuming pipe 18 extending via a gas takeout valve 12 and adjusters 14a and 14b from the bulk storage tank 10. A part between the bypass connecting adapter 16a and the branch joint 19 is connected by a high pressure hose 20 via an adjuster 14c. The adjuster side is formed of a POL joint. A joint of the branch joint 19 and the high pressure hose 20 is formed of a quick coupling.
