    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable nozzle device for a variable capacity supercharger capable of facilitating the automatic control of a turbine rotating speed and reducing damage and wear to a nozzle mounting face or a gap adjusting plate by greatly reducing the hysteresis of the turbine rotating speed and the sliding resistance of a variable nozzle vane during the opening/closing of a nozzle. SOLUTION: Each variable nozzle vane 4 is supported at both ends by a nozzle driving shaft 3 passing through the nozzle mounting face 2a and a nozzle supporting shaft 25 passing through the gap adjusting plate 6. Pressure in a link chamber 24 and in a hollow chamber 6a of the gap adjusting plate 6 is controlled so that gas-pressure shaft forces on the nozzle driving shaft 3 and the nozzle supporting shaft 25 are approximately balanced therewith.
