    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an increase of a labor hour required for production of a drive motor for an automobile, and to enhance insulation reliability.
      SOLUTION: This prepreg sheet is formed so as to have each thermosetting adhesive layer on both surfaces of a sheet substrate. This prepreg sheet is so used: that one surface of the thermosetting adhesive layer is adhered to a slot internal wall of a stator core or a rotor core of the drive motor for the automobile; and that another surface of the thermosetting adhesive layer is adhered to a surface of a conductor coil in the slot. The another surface has surface tack so that a U-shaped segment to form the conductor coil can be inserted into one slot in a state where a plurality of segment feet are bound, and the one surface has nonadhesiveness so that frictional resistance to the slot internal wall upon insertion of the feet can be controlled.

      SOLUTION: A prepreg sheet is provided in which a thermosetting adhesive layer provided by using an epoxy resin composition is formed on at least one surface of a sheet-like substrate so as to be adhered at least on the slot internal wall surface of a stator core or a rotor core of the driving motor for automobiles or on the surface of the conductor coil to be received in the slot, wherein the epoxy resin composition is a powder containing a bisphenol epoxy resin having ≥70°C softening point and a novolac epoxy resin solid at normal temperature in a weight ratio of from 30:70 to 70:30, and further containing an imidazole curing agent, and the powder epoxy resin composition is firmly adhered on the sheet-like substrate to form the thermosetting adhesive layer.
