    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling resin product which exhibits a durable antifouling property.
      SOLUTION: An artificial marble is composed of a substrate 1 and an antifouling layer 4 formed on the surface of the substrate 1. The substrate 1 is prepared by dispersing a filler 1b into a matrix 1a which is made of an acrylic resin. The filler 1b contains aluminum hydroxide. The antifouling layer 4 consists of an underlayer 2 which is formed onto the substrate 1, containing an aluminum chelate compound and a silicon component, and a silicon-based surface layer 3 which is layered onto the surface of the under layer 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a hydrated hardened product having a practically sufficient strength even when an industrial waste, having a low SiO2 content or containing a large amount of impurities as a siliceous raw material when using the siliceous raw material and a calcareus raw material and producing the hydrated hardened product according to a hydrothermal synthetic reaction. SOLUTION: A siliceous raw material powder and a calcareous raw material powder are mixed at a ratio so as to provide 0.05-1.0 molar ratio of Ca/Si. Water in an amount of 10-50mg/m based on the unit surface area of the siliceous raw material powder is then added to the resultant mixture and the wet milling treatment of the mixed powder with a pulverizer housing a pulverizing medium such as balls in a container part. The resultant mixed powder is then formed into a prescribed shape and the hydrothermal synthetic reaction of the formed material is carried out together with water in a pressure kiln under pressurizing and heating to afford a hydrated hardened product.
