    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch valve provided with both two functions of one being a switching function and the other being a function to cut-off a duct.
      SOLUTION: A columnar valve element 10 is rotatably contained in a valve case 1 having an inflow port 3 formed in a bottom wall part and outflow ports 4 and 5 in a side wall part. The valve element 10 is provided at a lower end face part 10b with a plurality of inflow ports 12, 13, and 14 formed in a lower end face part 10b and coinciding with the inflow port 3 of the valve case and at a side peripheral surface part 10a with an outflow port 11 coinciding with the outflow ports 4 and 5 of the valve case. By rotating the valve element 10, a state to communicate the inflow port 3 with one of the outflow ports 4 and 5 is selectively switched and the inflow port 3 is closed to effect cut-off. By interposing bearings 40 and 41 between the valve case 1 and the valve element 10, the valve element 10 is rotationally driven at low torque.
