摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-drilling anchor for use in a dry wall that can be mounted either in a dry wall only, or in a dry wall and a structural member allowing mounting of a heavy load thereon. SOLUTION: The self-drilling anchor for use in a friable material mounted on the structural member includes an elongated body having an axis; an axial hole adapted to receive an elongated fastener; a collar-like end having torque transmitting surfaces; a base portion; an intermediate portion; a distal portion; and a drilling tip generally opposite the collar-like end. The base portion has a threaded exterior having a root, a crest diameter and a thread height, and the intermediate portion has a threaded exterior having a root, a crest diameter substantially smaller than the thread height of the proximal portion, and a thread height substantially smaller than the thread height of the proximal portion. The distal portion has a threaded exterior having a root tapered toward the drilling tip, a crest diameter substantially smaller than the crest diameter of the base portion, and a thread height substantially smaller than the thread height of the base portion. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-drilling anchor for a dry type wall to be fitted to a dry wall unit, a dray wall and a structural member, to which a heavy material can be installed. SOLUTION: The self-drilling anchor for a fragile material fitted to a structural member is provided with a narrow and long body having a shaft, an axial hole for receiving a narrow and long fastener, a flange-like end part having a torque transmitting surface, a base part, an intermediate part, a tip part and a drill tip part usually arranged on a side opposite to the flange-like end part. The base part has a male screw having a root, thread diameter and thread height, and the intermediate part has a male screw having a root, thread diameter practically smaller than that of the base part and thread height practically lower than that of the base part, and the tip part has a male screw having a root tapered toward the drill tip, thread diameter practically smaller than that of the base part and thread height practically lower than that of the base part.
