    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unbalance correction machining method capable of correcting an amount of unbalance even when the amount exceeds the maximum machining capacity for one site.SOLUTION: The unbalance correction machining method includes setting a plurality of machining-removing sections in a circumferential direction of a removing object section of a rotor with constant angle intervals (S1), measuring an unbalance vector showing the amount and direction of the unbalance of the rotor (S2), dividing the unbalance vector into divided vectors corresponding to a pair of machining-removing sections located at both sides of the direction of the unbalance vector (S3), and dividing again the divided vector into divided vectors at a pair of machining-removing sections located at both sides of the direction of the divided vector (S5) when an amount of unbalance corresponding to each divided vector with respect to the corresponding machining-removing section exceeds the maximum machining capacity (YES in S4). The dividing (S5) is repeated until an amount of unbalance corresponding to each machining-removing section becomes not larger than the maximum machining capacity, and the equivalent machining-removing section are machined and removed.
