    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines which has low global warming factor, is used particularly for refrigerating machines using refrigerants having a specified structure such as unsaturated fluorohydrocarbon compounds, the compounds being refrigerants usable in current car's air conditioning systems, etc., and has excellent compatibility with the refrigerants and excellent stability.
      SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines uses refrigerants containing at least one fluorine-containing organic compound or a combination of the fluorine-containing organic compound and a saturated fluorohydrocarbon compound, the at least one fluorine-containing organic compound being selected from compounds represented by the molecular formula (A): C

      s (A) [wherein, R represents Cl, Br, I, or H, p is an integer of 1-6, q is an integer of 0-2, r is an integer of 1-14, and s is an integer of 0-13, where when q is 0, p is 2-6 and one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds are contained in the molecule]. The lubricating oil composition for refrigerating machines contains as its base oil and as its major component a polyvinyl ether-based compound with a hydroxyl value of 15 mgKOH/g or less having in the molecule an alkylene glycol unit or a polyoxyalkylene glycol unit and a vinyl ether unit.
