    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an embossed sheet made of thermoplastic resin, having a high transfer rate, by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A melted thermoplastic resin sheet 11 is introduced between a third roll 16 having an embossed pattern on its circumferential surface and a metal endless belt 15. The thermoplastic resin sheet 11 is cooled from its one surface side by the first temperature control means 30A of the metal endless belt 15, and then the embossed pattern is transferred to the thermoplastic resin sheet 11 by linear pressure applied between the third roll 16 and the a forth roll 19. Then, the transferred thermoplastic resin sheet 11 is peeled from the metal endless belt 15 and the third roll 16 by the second temperature control means 30B of the metal endless belt 15, and distortion is corrected by a distortion correction roll 17 to obtain the embossed sheet 21 made of thermoplastic resin. Even when the thermoplastic resin sheet 11 to which the embossed pattern is transferred is relatively thick, an embossed pattern is efficiently formed without generating any appearance failures such as a bank defect.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process and a manufacturing device of a polypropylene resin sheet or film which allow the high-speed production of a highly transparent planar polypropylene resin.
      SOLUTION: A metal endless belt 15 which contacts a polypropylene resin sheet 11, and a third cooling roll 16 are maintained at a temperature 50°C or lower but not lower than dew point. The sheet 11 is then introduced between a first cooling roll 13 and the third cooling roll 16 while simultaneously contacting the endless belt 15 and the third cooling roll 16. The resin sheet 11 is pressure touched flatways and cooled by both cooling rolls 13 and 16, while compressing an elastic material 18 into an elastic deformation by the pressure between the cooling rolls 13 and 16.
