    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-sensitizing dye and its ligand which has good photoelectric conversion efficiency and especially enhanced durability (especially high temperature durability), as well as to provide an oxide semiconductor electrode containing those and a dye-sensitized solar cell. SOLUTION: A divalent transition metal complex includes: a bipyridyl acid ligand (i) such as a dicarboxybipyridine (dcbpy) ligand, as an adsorption site to an oxide semiconductor particle surface such as titanium dioxide; a ligand (ii) selected from among an isothiocyanate group, an isocyanato group, and an isoselenocyanato group, which enables absorption and excitation of a long wavelength, and charge transfer; and a bipyridyl (bpy) ligand (iii) directly or conjugatedly linked to an aryl or heteroaryl group-substituted heterocyclic five-membered ring, which enhances absorbance of a transition metal complex, and also enhances a bathochromatic effect of absorption.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transition metal complex which exhibits strong absorptions in a wide range of spectra and serves as a novel photosensitizer dye having excellent durability, as well as an oxide semiconductor electrode and a dye-sensitized solar cell that contain the dye. SOLUTION: The bivalent transition metal including (i) a bipyridyl polyacidic ligand such as a dicarboxybipyridyl (dcbpy) ligand as an adsorption site for adsorption onto the surface of titanium dioxide particles, (ii) a ligand which is selected from among isothiocyanato, isocyanato, and isoselenato groups and enables absorption excitation/charge transfer at long wavelengths, and (iii) a bipyridyl (bpy) ligand directly bonded to or conjugated to a five-membered heterocyclic ring having an alkyl, an alkoxyalkyl, or an alkoxy group including a quaternary carbon atom which may be optionally substituted by one or more fluoro groups for providing nucleophilic reagent stability to a sensitizer dye to improve the absorbance and bathochromic effect in absorption of the transition metal complex, and the photosensitizer dye having the structure are provided.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for recommending service to a user by combining different services for remote communication between hetrogeneous smart environments.
      SOLUTION: In future ubiquitous society, it is thought that environments constructed by a large number of sensors or information apparatuses, and various networks, i.e., the smart environments are ubiquitous in various places. The smart environments are mounted in the apparatuses, services, and architectures variously different according to the places. "PeerPool" as a mechanism for connecting networks of remote smart environments and a mechanism for opening smart environments each having a different protocol as a Web service is automatically set. As a mechanism for recommending the service to the user, selection of the service by template matching and an interactive user interface using an instant message are materialized.
