CONSTITUTION:Raw water is introduced from below a water treating device 11 on the water supply side thereof into the interior thereof and dropped from above an ultraviolet disinfecting lamp 12 and a flow straightener 21 is provided on the discharge side between the ultraviolet disinfecting lamp 12 and a filter tank 17. Therefore, the water is treated normally by the ultraviolet rays, ozone and the filter tank 17. If the filter tank 17 is clogged due to a heavy rain, the water dropping from above the ultraviolet disinfecting lamp 12 is treated by the ultraviolet rays and the ozone, passed between the lower end of the flow straightener 21 and the filter tank 17 and carried out. In this method, harmful org. matter is caused to undergo photooxidative decomposition by the ultraviolet rays, water-bloom in water is eliminated and nitride nitrogen, iron or org. matter in the water is oxidized or decomposed by a strong oxidative power of the ozone.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the outflow of water to the outside of the device even in the case of a trouble in a water level sensor by disposing a partition plate on the water injection port side of the device body in such a manner that the water falls into a UV sterilizing lamp housing chamber and, further, disposing a water level adjusting plate having a water level adjusting part in the upper part on the drain port side. CONSTITUTION:The device body 11 of a box shape has the water injection port 12 and the drain port 13 on the flanks in the lower part of the device body 11 and is internally installed with plural pieces of the UV sterilizing lamps 14. A filter chamber 16 is provided on the lower side of the UV sterilizing lamps 14 to physically filter the suspended matter contained in the water. The partition plate 19 is provided on the water injection port 12 side of the device body 11 and the untreated water from a basin rises by passing the spacing between the inside wall surface of the device body 11 and the partition plate 19. This water is sent from the front surface of the partition plate 19 to the UV sterilizing lamp 14 housing chamber. The water level adjusting plate 20 having the water level adjusting part 22 for adjusting the water level in the upper part is provided on the drain port 13 side of the device body 11.

In this method, harmful org. matter is caused to undergo photooxidative decomposition by the ultraviolet rays so as to be decomposed, water-bloom in the water is eliminated and nitrite nitrogen, iron or org. matter in the water is oxidized or decomposed by a strong oxidative power of the ozone.

    • PURPOSE: To enable effective decomposition by oxidation of org. compds. contained in the water, sterilization of general bacteria and colibacillus, and removal by decomposition of residual chlorine by circulating water through a space between a cylindrical water passage and an ultraviolet ray source and between the space and a water storage tank.
      CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical water passage 16 is provided to an upper half part of a main body 15 of the apparatus, and an ultraviolet ray source 14 is installed to an internal hollow part of the water passage 16, simultaneously. Further, a water storage tank 17 is formed at the bottom of the water passage 16, and water is circulated through a space between the water passage 16 and the ultraviolet ray source 14 and in the water storage tank 17. Thus, the falling water around the ultraviolet ray source 14 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and ozonized gas is mxied with the falling water around the ultraviolet ray souce 14 effectively by repeating contact several times. As the result, oxidative decomposition of org. compds. contained in the water, sterilization of general bacteria and colibacillus, and removal and deodorization of residual chlorine is accomplished effectively.
