摘要： PURPOSE: To improve the external appearance of an opening having water and air tightness by a method wherein a gasket made of elastic material is mounted to the side edges of adjoining movable glass and peripheral glass, and fin-shaped parts each provided with a protrusion are projected so that the protrusions are resiliently contact with each other, whereby the parts resiliently make contact with each other. CONSTITUTION: By means of a linkage lock 5 fixed to a frame material 6, a movable glass 1 rotates about a hinge 4. Next, protrusions 74, 83 made of expanded elastic bodies are closely contacted with each other in a joint to keep airtightness. And a fin-shaped water-drip cover 71 prevents rainwater from penetrating into the joint above the glass 1. And when the glass 1 is opened, a fin 81 of a gasket 8 mounted to the glass 1 gets into the interior of the cover 71 and at the same time the elastic bodies 74, 75 are deformed in the joint so that both are slipped and contact with each other or make contact with the opposed surface of other gasket 7. Further fins 75, 94 on the indoor side of gasket 7, 9 of a peripheral glass 2 are brought into close contact with the gasket 8 to keep airtightness. As a result, airtightness, watertightness, and design characteristics can be improved.
