摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable urethane composition which can give a polyurethane having excellent heat resistance and food hydrolysis resistance and can be desirably used for an electrical insulation sealing agents by using a specified polyesterpolyol containing hydroxy-fatty acid oligomer units as the polyol component. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by using a normally liquid polyesterpolyol AB comprising fatty acid units A and polyhydric alcohol units B and having an iodine value of 50 or below as at least a part of the polyol component. At least a part of fatty acid units A should be at least dimeric hydroxy-fatty acid oligomer units formed from the condensation of the hydroxy- fatty acids or of the hydroxy-fatty acid with hydroxyl-free fatty acids, and at least a part of polyalcohol units should be at least trihydric polyhydric alcohol units. The content of the polyesterpolyol AB should be 40wt.% based on the total of the polyol components and the polyisocyanate component.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin composition showing excellent flame retardancy and electrical reliability in spite of containing no substance adding a load to the environment by compounding an epoxy resin with a triazine-ring- containing phenolic curing agent with an inorganic filler, an inorganic ion exchanger, and a cure accelerator. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin used is desirably a bisphenol epoxy resin or cresol novolak epoxy resin. The epoxy resin content is as high as about 20-50 wt.% based on the composition. The triazine-ring-containing phenolic curing agent used is desirably a phenolic novolak resin having at least two phenoitc hydroxyl groups in the molecule, having triazine rings in the molecular structure, and represented by the formula. The inorganic ion exchanger used is desirably an anion exchanger. The composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin with about 35 to 80 pts.wt. triazine-ring-containing phenolic curing agent, about 60-300 pts.wt. inorganic filler, about 60-300 pts.wt. inorganic exchanger, and about 0.3-4 pts.wt. cure accelerator.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having excellent flame retarding properties regardless of containing no halogens, antimony and red phosphorus and useful for insulation processes of electronic parts by using precipitated aluminum hydroxide together with a specific coupling agent as a flame retardant. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent (preferably, methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride, (C) a filler (preferably powdery silica), (D) a flame retardant and (E) a coupling agent, and contains precipitated aluminum hydroxide as the ingredient D and a silane compound having a polyalkylene oxide group as the ingredient E. The ingredient E is a compound expressed by the formula [R is a 1-30C alkyl; A is a 1-4C alkylene; A is a 1-6C alkylene; R' is a 1-30C alkyl; (n) is 1-100]. The ingredient B, the ingredient C and the ingredient D are preferably made to be 50-100 pts.wt., 0.5-20% and 200-500 pts.wt., respectively based on 100 pts.wt. of the ingredient A.
