摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an electrolytic cleaning device of an extremely small size and small electric power consumption by using a drainboardlike die placing plate for a die rack, and installing electrodes vertically on roughly the centerline of the die placing plate. CONSTITUTION:A die rack 2' is constituted of electrode rods 3', a die placing plate 4, rack stanchions 5, and rack bars 7, wherein the rods 3' are disposed linearly at equal intervals so as to be perpendicular to the plate 4. The plate 4 of drainboard- or network-like structure is installed to the bars 7 by means of the stanchions 5. The rods 3' are fixed at their top and bottom ends to the rack 2' via electrical insulating materials 8. The rods 3' and the bars 7 are connected at one end to an electric power source, and the rods 3' and the plate 4 are so wired as to assume always electrically reversed relations of positive and negative poles with the plate 4. The efficiency of the electrolytic cleaning is considerably improved by this.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of possible flaws on a die surface by arranging a sliding body so slidably on an inclined member that a grinding wheel is escaped by sliding the body slantly upward when it presses the surface of the die by an excessive force. CONSTITUTION:A sliding body 9 is equipped with a side pressure loading means, a die grinding wheel 20 and the like, the own weight of which balances a down slant component F of force of the sliding body 9 and a repulsive force of a spring 14. Even when the side pressure loading means applies a side pressure on a die grinding wheel 20, the reaction thereof slightly reduces the deflection of the spring 14. If the die grinding wheel 20 is spressed against the surface of the die 1 by an excessive force, the sliding body 9 is slid upward aslant with respect to an inclined member 4 to escape it thereby preventing any possible flaw on the surface of the die 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a mold rack perfectly, by covering with electric insulating material a part of the mold loading plate of the mold rack opposed to an electrode plate at the shortest distance. CONSTITUTION:A part of the mold loading plate 4 of a mold rack 2 being at the shortest distance from an electrode plate 3 is covered with electric insulating material 7 of fluorocarbon resin etc. When the mold 6 to be electrocleaned is placed on the mold loading plate 4, the mold rack 2 is immersed in a cleaning bath 1 and connected to an electric power source, the mold 6 and the mold rack 2 become the same electrode, an electric current flows to the electrode plate 3 being in the state of a counter electrode, impurities of oil, carbon, oxide etc. sticking to the inner surface of the mold 6 are stripped and the surface is cleaned. Because in this time the part covered with insulating material 7 of the mold loading plate 4 is in the insulated state to the electrode plate 3, wear of this part is prevented perfectly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate annular grinding streaks on a metal mold for glass forming, by vertically moving abrasive stones. CONSTITUTION:Abrasive stones 12, 13, 14 are opened through a cam 16 by turning a handle 17 counterclockwise to set a metal mold 1 in a rotary device 2. As the handle 17 is reset. The centripetal force of arms 8, 9, 10 caused by an elastic body 15 keeps the stones 12, 13, 14 in contact with the metal mold 1. As an air cylinder 4 is put in motion, the abrasive stones 12, 13, 14 attached to a block 6 polish the surface of the metal mold 1 while moving vertically. If the external diameter of the metal mold 1 is not uniform at this moment, the stones 12, 13, 14 are kept pressed by means of the elastic body 15 to the metal mold 1, following the change in the diameter, to polish the metal mold 1 uniformly.

A metallic mold grindstone 16 is fitted to a head of the rod 11, and a vertical motion of the piston rod 6 causes the grindstone 16 to press down, by a gravity, and move on a surface of the metallic mold, resulting in a uniform grinding of the surface of the metallic mold 21 by the grindstone 16.
