    • PURPOSE:To provide a stick material hanging-down device which keeps both the hanging-down force and the up and down change amount of a hanging-down stick material within a proper range and can make the strengthwise design load of the hanging-down stick material small and can conduct support without causing the damage of the stick material and its upper end connection portion. CONSTITUTION:A regulating valve 21 is provided between a fluid cushion mechanism 13 and an accumulator 20, and the amplitude of the up and down movement speed and the amplitude of the up and down movement displacement of a hanging-down stick material are detected by means of detectors 26, 27, and the opening of the regulating valve 21 is controlled by means of the displacement controller 29 of a controller 28. The flow passage resistance of oil that flows into/out of the fluid cushion mechanism 13 is changed, and by generating passively proper resistance force that is in accordance with the movement speed of the oil, the stick material is supported by means of the joining force of spring force and resistance force. As a result, load change generated between the fluid cushion mechanism 13 of a floating body 11 and the hanging-down stick material 17 is reduced by means of a simple mechanism.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of a rod material or a float by forming a supporting mechanism for a rod material hangdown device from a liquid pressure cylinder elongating and contracting in compliance with the vertical motions of the rod material, a pneumatic spring in connection with the cylinder, and a flow path adjusting mechanism interposed between them. CONSTITUTION:In case the vertical motion speed of a pipe 3 is low to allow a pneumatic spring 22 to absorb the vertical motions, a valve 13 of a supporting mechanism 2 is opened fully, so that the pressure in a liquid pressure cylinder 12 acts directly into an air tank 15, and the pipe 3 and float 1 are precluded from risk of breakage. When the pneumatic spring 22 can no more absorb the vertical motions of the pipe 3, the relative displacement of the float 1 with pipe 3 sensed by a displacement sensor 25 of a control device 16 is calculated by a calculation part as the relative speed, and the absolute velocity is calculated from the vertical acceleration of the float 1 sensed by an acceleration sensor 26, and the absolute velocity of the vertical motions of the pipe 3 is calculated. Then the differential pressure target value for the valve 13 is calculated, and on the basis thereof the degree of opening of the valve 13 is lessened. If the vertical motions of the pipe 3 lessen, the valve 13 is driven in the direction of enlarging the degree of opening of the valve 13.
