CONSTITUTION:Regarding a wastewater treatment apparatus utilizing a box culvert, 1 the inside of the box culver 1 is filled with a contact oxidization material 5 and a gas bubbling apparatus 4 and a sludge drawing out apparatus 3 are installed in the bottom part to constitute a unit treatment tank and a continuous water route is formed by connecting one or a plurality of unit treatment tanks. The inlet side and the outlet side of the continuous water route are closed respectively by concrete box plates 6, 9 to make an independent treatment tank and at the same time a wastewater inlet 8 and a treated water outlet 11 are formed respectively on one side and on the other side and then wastewater is supplied to the treatment tank and the wasatewater is treated with microbe adhering to the contact oxidization material 5.

    • PURPOSE:To simply and inexpensively purify sewage by arranging a water tank having an inflow port and an outflow port formed to one and other ends thereof respectively in a channel such as rivers along a flow direction and arranging a large number of sheet like contact materials using bacteria in the water tank. CONSTITUTION:A water tank 5 having an inflow port 7 and an outflow port 8 respectively opened to one and other ends thereof is arranged in a channel such as rivers along a flow direction and the water tank 5 is packed with a plurality of contact material units wherein a large number of sheet like contact materials 1 using bacteria are parallelly arranged so that the contact materials 1 are arranged along the flow direction of the channel. Air diffusion pipes 3 and sludge withdrawing pipes 10 are arranged to the bottom part of the tank under the contact material units in the direction traversing the channel. Sewage flowing in the water tank 5 comes into contact with bacteria deposited on the contact materials 1 while flows through the gaps between the contact materials and org. matter in sewage is subjected to oxidative decomposition to purify sewage. By this constitution, energy is conserved by utilizing natural flow-down of rivers and bacteria are utilized to reduce maintenance cost.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously perform biological treatment of sewage and filtration treatment by forming a separation zone of impurities, a contact zone of sewage and air and a filtration zone of fine solid material in a single treating tank and circulating a filter medium through these zones and regenerating the filter medium. CONSTITUTION:A filter medium 2 is packed in the upside of the inside of a filter tank 1. The supply pipe 4 of raw water is fitted in the upper layer of the filter medium and an air-diffusing pipe 6 is similarly fitted in the lower layer thereof. On one side, the top part of a pull-out pipe 10 of the filter medium 2 is fitted in the top of the filter tank 1. The lower end part of the pull-out pipe 10 is fitted in the inside of a separation tank 11 connected to the bottom of the filter tank 1 through a stop valve 15. A sewage discharge pipe 12 provided with a pull-out pump 13 is fitted in the bottom of the separation tank 11. Further the return nozzle 14a of sludge is formed in the inside of the filter medium 2 in the upside of the air-diffusing pipe 6. The return pipe 14 of sludge may be connected to the discharge pipe 12 through a stop valve 14b. Thereby a separation zone, a contact zone and a filtration zone are formed respectively.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a device where a filter medium is washed and regenerated without washing away the filter medium while continuous filter operation is performed in a filter using a sedimentating filter medium for sewage water, etc. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of a tank filter 1 filled with a precipitated filter medium 2 is connected to a separation tank 6 and between the separation tank 6 and the lower part of the tank filter 1 is arranged a washing pipe 8 for the filter medium 2. On the other hand, on the upper part of the separation tank 6 is provided a drawing pump 10. When the filter medium 2 is washed, the filter medium 2 is drawn out from the lower part of the tank filter 1 together with water in the tank filter into the separation tank 6 to wash the filter medium 2 and when washing is finished, water in the tank filter 1 is drawn out from its upper part is made to flow countercurrent to the precipitated filter medium 2 and the filter medium 2 is washed in clean water and simultaneously rinsed water and waste washing liquid are separated to be discharged to outside the tank filter. A series of these washing operations of the filter medium 2 is separately performed from the filter operation in the tank filter which is not interrupted.
