    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain flapping of a container lid having a resin layer. SOLUTION: The present container lid is attached to an opening of a container main body and at least has a resin layer while being composed of a panel part 5, an opening handle 12, a flange part 6 and a score part 7. The panel part 5 covers the opening of the container main body 1. The handle 12 is provided at the upper part of the panel part 5 and fixed at its one end to one end side of the panel part 5. The flange part 6 is formed at the outer circumferential part of the panel part 5 and mounted on the periphery of the opening of the container main body 2. The score part 7 is made up of an annular groove formed between the panel part 5 and the flange part 6. Then, a bending part such as a slit 5b or the like which is bendable upon opening along a bending line crossing the direction of opening is provided at the panel part 5 on a position in the latter half part of a length extending along the direction of opening.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine hermetic sealing performance of a hermetically sealed container accurately in a short time. SOLUTION: The inventive system for inspecting hermetic sealing performance of a hermetically sealed container 1 rigid enough to hold an inner pressure and having a head space between a filler and a cover part comprises a retort oven 6, a pressure regulating mechanism 15, an air gun 7, a second weight measuring unit 8, and a deciding section 14. The hermetically sealed container 1 is set in the retort oven 6 which can be filled with water such that the container 1 is submerged. The pressure regulating mechanism 15 regulates pressure in the retort oven 6 to generate a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the container 1. The air gun 7 removes water drop adhering to the container 1 taken out from the retort oven 6. The second weight measuring unit 8 detects the weight of the container 1 taken out from the retort oven 6. The deciding section 14 detects weight variation of the container 1 taken out from the retort oven 6 and makes a decision whether hermetic sealing performance of the container 1 is acceptable or not.

SOLUTION: A container lid comprises a base 1 which has physical properties necessary for holding an item to be sealed into a container, a perimetral edge part on the base 1 which forms, opposite to the side where a container main body is attached, a perimeter for the container lid 5, a panel part 5 which covers, on the same side where the perimetral edge part is formed, the base portion surrounded by the perimetral edge part, and an easy-to-break score part 7 which is formed between the perimetral edge part and panel part 5, the perimetral edge part and panel part comprising resin layers formed of the same thermoplastic resin on the base 1. The substantial portion of the score part 7 is composed of the base 1. Further, in at least a portion of the score part 2, a thin film formed of a thermoplastic resin connecting the perimetral edge part and panel part is formed on the base 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inspection method in which the sealing performance of a sealed container can be judged in a short time and with good accuracy, by a method wherein the sealed container is exposed to heating air, the container is discharged to the outside of a retort oven, and the position in the heightwise direction in the center of a lid is measured so as to be compared with a quality-judgment reference position. SOLUTION: A circular panel 5a and its peripheral edge 5b are provided at the lid 5 of a container 10. A score line 7 as an annular groove is formed in the boundary between the panel 5a and the peripheral edge 5b. Then, a sample as a retort food is housed inside an autoclave oven for the retort food, and a steam-type retort sterilization treatment is executed. After the treatment under a prescribed condition, the retort hood is taken out from the inside of the oven, and the position in the central part of the lid 5 of the sample is measured. The position of the lid 5 before the treatment of the retort food is designated as a numerical value of 0, a case in a state that the retort food is recessed is designated as a numerical value of (-), and a case in a state that the retort food is protruding is designated as a numerical value of (+) so as to be compared with a judgment reference value. A nondefective sample is hardly changed in the position of the lid 5 before the treatment of the retort food. As a result, a defective can be judged clearly on the basis of a state that the retort food is recessed.
