SOLUTION: In the seedling planting machine having a seedling supplying stand 3 for receiving and supplying the seedling tray 2 for seedling raising in which the seedling raising pots are arranged and a seedling take-off apparatus 6 for supplying pot seedlings N to seedling cups 5 of a cup conveyor 4 while taking out the pot seedlings from the seedling tray 2, this seedling supplying apparatus is characterized in that in the seedling take-off apparatus 6, mutual seedling intervals between a great number of pot seedlings N simultaneously taken out from seedling raising pots of each arrangement are set expandably and contractibly.

SOLUTION: This seedling transplanting machine has a characteristic of being furnished with a pair of left and right travelling wheels on the front side of a car body and a pair of left and right travelling crawlers on the rear side and inclining the left and right travelling crawlers so that the grounding sides inclined in a reverse open upward shape so that the grounding side comes to be inside in the left and right directions.

The lower end of the ground making roller 132 is at the same height of the grounding part of the sensor plate 131 or lower than it. The height of the revolving central shaft of the ground making roller 132 is made higher than the lower end of the sensor plate 131.

When the pot-shape seedling N at both left and right end parts is separated and removed by the transplanting device 23, the resistance of the pot-shape seedling N of the seedling receiving rod 30 is lost, the situation of being turned and operated to the opposite side of the transplanting device is detected in the seedling detector 32 and the rotation and stoppage of the electric motor 20 are controlled so as to make the pot-shape seedling N of the next column push out the seedling receiving rod 30 to a prescribed position on the side of the transplanting device 23 and stop it.
