SOLUTION: In both right and left end sides of rear edge 12a of the toilet seat cover 12, sliders 14, 14 are attached advanceably and retreatably in the front and back directions. Each slider 14 is always energized forward by a tension coil spring 16. Each slider 14 is turnably attached with a protruding part 3a of the toilet seat box 3A in rising and falling manner via a turning shaft 18 respectively. When toilet seat cover 12 is put down, the slider 14 is pulled back from rear edge 12a by an energizing power of spring 16, and the toilet seat cover 12 moves close to the toilet seat box 3A. Therefore, the gap between the rear edge 12a of the toilet seat cover 12 and the front edge of the toilet seat box 3A is reduced.

In a flushing state, water supply is started to the rim nozzle 4 by using service water pressure, and almost simultaneously with the start of the water supply, accumulated water in the accumulator 32 is supplied to the rim nozzle 4.

As the pinion 14 is relatively moved from the rear end to the front end of the first rack 12a, the toilet lid 5A is moved to the rear in the turned-down state, and the gap between the toilet lid 5A and the low tank cover 6 is reduced.
