    • PURPOSE:To generate high reliable adhesion by a method wherein the joining surfaces of both the cover part of a drainage trap made of thermoplastic synthetic resin and a body part are positioned flush with each other, the joints of the cover part and the body part are respectively heated by a hot plate to bring them into a molten state, and the two joints are brought into contact with each other for joining. CONSTITUTION:A body part 4 of a drainage trap is held at a stationary jig 6, and a cover part 2 is held at an operating jig 7. A hot plate 5 is then inserted between the static jig 6 and the operating jig 7 and the hot plate 5 is arranged between the joint of the cover part 2 and the joint of the body part 4. The operating jig 7 is moved to below to bring the joint of the cover part 2 into contact with the hot plate 5, and the hot plate 5 is moved to below to bring the hot plate 5 into contact with the joint of the body part 4. As a result, the two joints are molted. With the operating jig 7 moved to above, the hot plate 5 is pulled out. The operating jig 7 is moved to below again and the molten joint of the cover part 2 is pressed against the molten joint of the body part 4 to integrally form the two joints.

    • PURPOSE:To keep the external appearance of a unit panel good and at the same time prevent the strength of the panel from lowering by a method wherein the position of an insert is fixed at a certain fixed position with positioners and simultaneously the positioners are integrally molded as some substantial parts of the unit panel. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that both a top force 28 and a bottom force 26 are used, a plurality of glass mats and sheet molding compounds (SMC) as molding material are set onto the bottom force 26 in the state that an insert 24 is pinched between them at their middle position. At this time, positioners 32 and 34 are fitted in fitting holes and bolt holes, which are bored in advance on the insert 24. In addition, at this time, the positioners 32 and the like are in the state afloat from the bottom force 26. When the top force 28 and the bottom force 26 are closed together in the state as just mentioned above, the molding material is flowed by means of the pressing force of the forces so as to fill all the corners of a cavity 30. Because the respective abutting surfaces of the prospective positioners 32, 34 and 36 are brought into the state being abutted against the inner surface of the cavity 30 so as to restrict the insert 24, no positional shift of the insert develops.

    • PURPOSE:To embed an insert member surely at a predetermined position in a molded form to reinforce the molded form effectively, by a method wherein resin is poured into a molding cavity under a condition that the insert member is pinched by the holding pins of top and bottom forces upon clamping a mold, thereafter, the holding pins are retracted into the mold. CONSTITUTION:A mold is clamped under a condition that the holding pins 40, 48 of top and bottom forces 28, 30 are protected form the mold surfaces to hold an insert member 54 by the holding pins 40, 48 of the top and bottom forces 28, 30 so as to fix the position of the insert just at the center of a molding cavity 32 formed by the top and bottom forces 28, 30. Resin material (sheet molding compound material) 56, set in the cavity 32 together with the insert member 54 under this condition, is fluidized by the pressurizing force of the top and bottom forces 28, 30 under heating to fill it into the molding cavity 32. Thereafter, the holding pins 40, 48 are retracted into the top and bottom forces 28, 30 while cavities, generated in the cavity 32 by the retraction of the pins, are filled with the flow of the resin whereby a molded form, in which the insert member 54 is embedded at a predetermined position, may be molded.
