    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and long stroke shock absorber which can increase the initial displacement as well as can take the stroke sufficiently largely, can absorb the impact and avoid a sudden load owing to the displacement, and can change the impact force and the displacement amount easily. SOLUTION: A pair of buffer fittings 5 and 6 with a U-shape are combined alternately in a casing 2, plural rubber balls 3 are aligned in series and held in a buffer container 4, to contact each other, a running block 7 is installed to one U-shape fitting 5 of the pair of buffer fittings, one end of a wire 10 is attached to the running block 7, the wire 10 is wrapped around a fixed block 8 fixed in the casing 2, and the wire 10 is drawn out out of the casing 2. In this case, by providing plural running blocks 7 and fixed blocks 8 in the casing 2, the stroke can be taken largely. Furthermore, a regulating tool 11 is connected to one end of the other side buffer fitting 5 where the running block 7 is not installed, by a screw shaft 21, so as to make the length of the housing space of the rubber balls 3 regulatable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient wire or rope pressurizing by a high pressurizing force without reducing the durability of a wire or a rope, to surely stop the feeding of the wire or the rope where the tensile force of a large load is applied, to easily and surely stop and release the stopping of wire or rope feeding, to improve workability, to reduce a burden on a worker, to provide general use even for a wire or a rope having a different diameter, to reduce the number of part items, and to reduce manufacturing unit costs. SOLUTION: A pair of rotary boards 4L and 4R having grooves having roughly circular-arc sectional shapes in the outer peripheral surfaces are provided while the outer peripheral surfaces thereof are placed close to each other, the pair of rotary boards 4L and 4R are associatively operated by a rotating mechanism such that rotational directions are opposite to each other, the curvature radius of each of the grooves is gradually reduced from the specified position of each of the rotary boards 4L and 4R toward one direction of the outer peripheral surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the damping capacity of a shock absorber by means of an obtained sufficiently large stroke by sectioning a shock absorber by means of a partitioning board at equal intervals by interposing plural pieces of rubber body in an annular storing space formed between a casing of large diameter and a casing of small diameter. SOLUTION: A casing 3b with a small diameter is fitted in a casing 3a with a large diameter made of stainless steel so as to form an annular storing space between the casing 3a and the casing 3b and plural rubber balls 5 are arranged in the storing space in mutually contact state. And the inside of the storing space is sectioned by partitioning boards 31, 32 perpendicularly to the inner circumferential wall and the outer circumferential wall of the casing 3a, 3b. In the case of such a shock absorber 2, when the shaft rotates so as to transmit power, the casing makes its turn, and a rubber ball 5 sandwiched between partitioning boards 31, 32 is contracted or extended to be damped and also the stroke can be set large. Therefore, a large initial displacement is attained by a small load and shock van be damped by a large displacement quantity.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber to exert a restoration force both in a compression direction and a tension direction and increase a damping force, and perform movement in a vertical direction, a horizontal direction, and an oblique direction, and absorb a shock due to displacement and avoid a rapid load. SOLUTION: Structure is formed such that universal joints 7 and 8 are arranged at the upper and lower ends of a buffering metal fitting 2 and support plates 9 and 10 to support a load are mounted on the tips of the respective universal joints 7 and 8, and a mechanism is such that a rubber body 5 is properly compressed by a pair of U-shaped metal fittings 3 and 4. Further, A contact part 6 is arranged in a manner to protrude downward from the compression plate 19 of the U-shaped metal fitting 3 slid over the lower two ends of the U-shaped metal fitting 3. A pair of U-shaped metal fittings 3 and 4 making contact with the internal part of the U-shaped metal fitting 4 are supported. In this case. The U-shaped metal fitting 3, the compression plate 19, and the contact part 6 are integrally manufactured. Further, the inner side of a buffering container 2 is coated with silicone oil but wear resistance resin may be applied or a resin plate and a metallic plate may be arranged.
