摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunk material vessel which positively exhibits a wooden skin pattern and annual rings each individual trunk has on the surface, though the wooden vessels in the prior art have a uniform shape suitable for mass production, and which can be used also for or diverted to the article other than the vessel by adding a simple and additional work. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the trunk material vessel exhibiting the wooden skin pattern and annual rings on the surface by appearance comprises cutting the trunk from an original tree into round slices to produce a material for a wooden main body 1 and a material for a wooden cover 2; hollowing out the core of one end of the wooden main body to make a space part 3 and a bottom part 4; and making a step part 4 in each of an opening part of the space part 3 and the outskirts of the material for the wooden cover 2, the step parts 4 being of a shape following the natural curved line of the outer periphery of the trunk and mating with each other, to produce the wooden main body 1 and the wooden cover 2 with annual rings 5 exposed on the surface of the wooden cover, and a woodskin pattern 6 on the wooden main body 1.
